“One day into my vacation here and so far I am pretty disappointed. I chose this hotel over another good hotel on the island because I thought it would be better but I definitely made a mistake and it was not worth the money. Our check in took 4 hours, we got here at 11 after a long day of flying and we were exhausted, and I understand if we’d have to wait until the last people checked out but check out is at 12 and we couldn’t get a room until 3PM, even though we were the only ones sitting around in the lobby, I think we should’ve been prioritized a little bit. The spa in the building next door is just okay, needs to be cleaner and all the showers are freezing cold. I had to clean the hot tub/jacuzzi in our room when we finally got checked in because it was dirty and had hair in it. The jacuzzi is actually outside on the patio and is right next to another rooms patio so it’s not that private. The room is super hot even though I’ve had the a/c on all night. There’s no room service and the minibar doesn’t include anything at all with the all inclusive. All inclusive gives you access to about half the cocktails on the drinks menu and the other half you still have to pay for. The food here is less than average, dry and flavourless even though there’s a lot of options to choose from there’s almost nothing good. Definitely the worst buffet I’ve ever had, I am not a picky eater but this food has no flavour, a lot of the fruit is expired and doesn’t taste good and hot food tastes like there’s no salt at all in it. For dinner I found one good meat and some rice everything else tasted so bland. The bed is comfy in the room, we met one nice bartender at the pool bar but all the other hotel staff we’ve dealt with hasn’t been very helpful, I noticed they’re all very nice to the elderly people and then they become just rude towards us not sure if it’s because I’m younger or why, but they were giving everyone else maps but to us they didn’t even explain how to get around the hotel so I had to come back and ask for that info. Overall this hasn’t been very relaxing so far and I wish I didn’t pay all the extra money to stay in the best room, I have a feeling the other hotel I was looking at would’ve been better than this one for less money. I am going to see how today goes but I think if I find another hotel we can stay at I would like to check out of this one early. We don’t take time off very often so it would be nice to enjoy this time instead of being uncomfortable.

“Had a great week here in May, hotel is a stones throw from the beach. Plenty of sun beds, staff always on available to serve drinks. You can pay for all inclusive when you get to the hotel on a pay as you go basis. Plenty of things for kids to do and a decent shop within the hotel.”
