I had an absolute blast while staying here. My friends and I stayed for a week and never had trouble finding help when we needed it. All of the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The animation team made each dayexciting and fresh with the activities all around the campus. There was always some event or party that was being led by them and each one was fun! Strongly recommend

Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y bonitas. El lugar es simplemente hermoso. El restaurante es simplemente auténtico, las comidas incluso se hacen delante de ti a veces. El personal del bar es siempre muy amable y trata de servir lo más rápido posible, lo cual es muy agradable. El entretenimiento es estupendo, fantástico y el personal siempre sonríe, consiguiendo siempre que la gente se reúna para socializar. Muy eficiente y profesional. También saben bailar muy bien las danzas dominicanas. Una mención especial al profesor de gimnasia que es simplemente increíble con unas ganas de vivir extraordinarias.

Excelente lugar, un paraíso. El clima estuvo perfecto. La comida en todos los restaurantes es espectacular, al igual que el servicio.Los bares, no faltan los licores de todos los tipos, en el coctel que pida.Las habitaciones muy cómodas, limpias y sin problemas.Los animadores y el bar de la plaza, lo mejor para la noche: música, cocteles, baile.

Excelente servicio, las instalaciones de primer nivel, y sobretodo el personal del hotel muy amable y preocupado por el bienestar del huésped. Mención especial al equipo de animadores, “Sopita” y sus compañeros, que nos hicieron bailar todas las noches, y en las tardes en la piscina. También muy destacable la atención de los Barman, en especial a Luis del sector de piscinas, y a las chicas Garzonas que son un amor. Muy recomendable para familias que viajan en busca de diversión para todas las edades.

Espero que la experiencia sea mejor para cada huésped en lo adelante.*****Demasiado caro para el mal servicio y la mala calidad que ofrecen.He querido agradar a mi familia llevándolos a un hotel 5 estrella y estoy pasando vergüenza, no nos sentimos bienvenidos y es increíble como uno entra a leer los comentarios y encuentra que todo el mundo está encantado.Pedimos una cava a la habitación, la enviaron caliente y cuando pedimos hielo nos dijeron que lo saliéramos a buscar.No se si el hecho de ser dominicanos tenga algo que ver con el mal servicio…pero no los recomiendo.Siento que he perdido el dinero y el tiempo.Hice la reserva en Booking.com así que tengan cuenta también en esa página

Majestic Colonial is honestly one of the nicest resort I have been to in the south. The resort is well maintained, the rooms are in good shape and the landscaping and pools are kept in a phenomenal shape. The beach is very wide, always cleaned from weed and you can always find a chairs. Food all in all is delicious for an all inclusive. Bartenders and staff are always smiling, happy and do a good job.The animation team does a good job, my favorite is red always up beat and going. At night they have music going in an open pavilionNight entertainment shows are mediocore.Recommendations: have more severs going around on the beach instead of everyone having to go got the beach hut to get a drink. And make more shows like the circus, eliminate the rest.

Beach is very nice, and there are lots of things to do at the beach to keep you busy. The room is nice and each and every one has a nice view. The bars are phenomenal and the people working them are great. The pool is nice and is not crowded. Through out the whole resort there are activities held by the workers. Animation team works very hard and is excellent. We had a great stay and enjoyed our time

Our stay here was simply amazing. Weather, food, and especially entertainment was top notch. The entertainment team was lively and kept everyone on their feet and energized! We stayed at the Majestic Elegance, but, we got a tour of the colonial from the amazing butler Ramiro. My family had him when they stayed in 2019, and they said we HAD to meet him. Boy we’re they right. He is a bundle of joy, and the sweetest most helpful person. He gave us a super informative, personal tour and we were wowed at all the colonial had to offer. The staff seemed amazing, and the views were astounding. We were able to use the colonial sports bar, shops, casino, lobby bar, and theatre throughout our stay and we constantly found ourselves wondering over there. The entertainment is excellent, and the staff was unmatched. Thank you Majestic and Ramiro for a magical stay!

Altogether a very nice place, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food is good and varied. The beach is not very wide and erosion has some rocks showing but still very nice. The only problem is that the room doors have no acoustic isolation and so it can be noisy when someone passes in the hallway. The windows on the other hand are very good and there is no noise coming from the pool/animation zones. The restaurants are nice, the food is good and the staff helpful. The Japanese place has some nice food and staff but it is EXTREMELY noisy because all the surfaces are "hard" (tiles, wall, ceiling) and so the noise bounces of it, they should really put some drapings or acoustic ceiling. The barmen are very nice, the reception people and luggage people do their best to help you. The gardens are very well maintained, there is a lot of staff always cutting, fixing, painting and repairing stuff so it is all very well kept. There is not much to do outside of the hotel but the animation team makes a good job and the show they perform every night is entertaining. All in all a good experience.

Beautiful resort with endless drinks! Great for anniversary (loved the decorations)… we upgraded (at arrival).. to the adults only. Francisco was our “butler”. We do not like the term butler .. Francisco was truly our buddy & our friend by the end. He was excellent and aways available and helpful and nice. From organizing our dinner reservations at hibachi and the French place to organizing our free golf tee time .. he was the best!!!! Thank you Francisco. Majestic colonial is very pretty and nice … be prepared to walk a lot! Our only downfall was the confusion between using elegance & mirage facilities. It was frustrating when all the beds and lounge chairs were full on colonial… family side uses many beds and chairs… and you cannot go over to elegance or the staff comes and kicks you out. There are only 4 or 6 canopy beds on colonial majestic side. We didn’t know when first booking there truly is a big difference between the 3! Colonial was most affordable for us. It was nice and Francisco even got us champagne and beer for our room. They decorated for our anniversary! Other helpful staff : Luisa, Alejandro & the towel helper (i forget his name), from the adults only pool bar closest to beach. Also Simon and Michael from the main dining hall so wonderful! And then at the upstairs piano bar the woman and staff in the morning there making our espresso were so great! Thanks Francisco and Colonial Majestic for making our anniversary special.

I loved the staff on the beach after parties & the shows! Anna in the steak house is friendly warm, accommodating & remember your name. RED!!!! Love her, she’s a warm & welcoming bundle of energy everyday! On the volleyball court & teaching dances, made every day better! Lery is a doll! Had so much fun with her also. Loved the atmosphere here. The only draw back was not the best butler service I have ever received. Long wait for answers, others in my party had better service!

Escolhemos o Majestic Colonial para comemorar nosso aniversário de casamento e ficamos muito satisfeitos, principalmente com os funcionários que são atenciosos e gentis e fazem de tudo para satisfazer os hóspedes. Já na chegada, fomos recebidos com uma deliciosa margarita, feita pelo Alberto e Carolina… Perfeita! Um agradecimento especial ao hostes Yeferson que nos recebeu e apresentou todo o hotel e as atrações, também não poderíamos deixar de agradecer a querida Leiry Laura, da equipe de animação, com seu jeito alegre nos divertiu muito e nos fez dançar todas as noites. Estivemos nesse maravilhoso Resort Majestic Colonial, entre os dias 17/11 a 23/11, onde fomos muito bem recebidos pela equipe da recepção, de inicio recebemos autorização para usufruir das instalações do Majestic Elegance,em seguidao check in, o Mordomo Faustino fez toda diferença em apresentar o Resort. As instalações excelentes, o quarto com vista ao mar maravilhoso, todos os funcionários bem atenciosos e carinhosos com todos. Era aniversário de nossa amiga e foi solicitado ao Mordomo Faustino se haveria a possibilidade de fazer uma surpresa e sem dificuldades deu total atenção e fez uma surpresa no quarto para nossa amiga. Ela ficou maravilhada com a atenção. Parabéns Sr. Faustino pelo excelente trabalho e toda equipe que nos atendeu. Indico com certeza esse maravilhoso Resort Majestic Colonial.

Resort muito bom com estrutura muito boa e quartos gigantes, com jacuzzi e boa limpeza. Devido a grande umidade do ar, os quartos podem cheirar um pouco a mofo, mas é só deixar a porta da sacada um pouco aberta enquanto vc não estiver que já resolveu meu problema. O Resort é bem grande, com bom parque aquático e boa estrutura de praia. Há shows todas as noites bem como festas a beira da piscina que são bem movimentadas. As bebidas servidas no dois bares do hall dohotel são de melhor qualidade do que as servidas a beira da piscina e/ou mar, a exemplo da cerveja, em que se toma Heineken no hall e a Presidente na beira da praia. A dica que deixo é quando for pedir um drink, solicitar a marca da bebida a ser colocada no drink, como uma vodca Absolut, por exemplo, senão, eles usam bebidas de menor qualidade. Mas o melhor de tudo nesse resort são as comidas. Todos os restaurantes temáticos, bem como o central são muito bons, só não curti muito o francês, mas acho que foi mais gosto pessoal, pois conhecidos meus gostaram. Outra coisa TOP é que os funcionários não ficam esperando a gorjeta ou a "propina" pra todo serviço que te prestam, diferente de outros resorts um pouco mais em conta que também ficam em Punta Cana. Quando forem escolher o hotel, levem isso em consideração, pois isso pode estragar uma férias inesquecível e torná-la inesquecível por outro fator bem mais chato. Recomendo demais o Hotel. Foram férias inesquecíveis para mim e minha esposa.

Muito bom resort! Ficamos no quarto mais barato (standard Junior) e mesmo assim era muito bom! Tinha uma bela sacada e banheira e o quarto era enorme. A comida variava pouco, dia a dia, no entanto havia muitas opções. Varios restaurantes, mas o melhor eh o internacional mesmo (mas vale a pena jantar para conhecer os outros). Não fiz quase nenhum passeio, só uma ida para o "shopping". Apesar de ser de graça o passeio, era muito ruim o shopping! Mesmo preço que nas lojas do resort basicamente e uma podridão. Nós fomos só para descansar no resort, sem gastar com outras coisas, teria valido mais a pena ter ficado no resort. Ainda no resort, tem várias atividades durante o dia para o cara não ser entediar, mas acabamos não fazendo nada mesmo (o que nos deu tédio em alguns dias. Ficamos por 1 semana). Mas para descansar foi ótimo! Sinceramente tem muito pouco ou nada para ser melhorar.

Jávisiteialguns resorts no Brasil como Club Med e garanto que não é igual a dimensão desse resort. Para quem quer beber e se divertir ésensacional. Resort basicamente frequentado por pessoas do EUA.Importante basicamente todos hóspedes do EUA são gorjeta . We booked an adults only room and they put us in the family section. They said that we booked an adults only room in the family section. Basically the company is dishonest. They over booked the adults only area lied to us. They also claim to restock our mini bar every day. Our fridge is "broken" and they said sorry nothing we can do. Save your time and money and book somewhere else.

Overall a good experience. Rooms are older and not everything works perfectly. Food and drink options are great though. What makes this place though is the staff. They look genuinely happy to work there and serve guests. Beach is very nice and the swim up bar is great. Also, the performances every day and the music in the plaza bar was amazing. Really liked our time here.

This review is solely for our butler this past week. I will provide a complete review after arriving home. FRANCISCO is amazing! Top notch! Best of all butlers! He always greeted us, he was extremely helpful, but he never bothered or hovered. He is a friendly and kind man who works very hard to ensure your stay is memorable. We hate leaving because we probably will never see him again. The Majestic Colonial staff needs to give FRANCISCO a pay raise because he was responsible for making our vacation great.

El hotel es bonito, la limpieza es buena, hacen actividades de entretenimiento, las bebidas son buenas. El único inconveniente es que no hay variedad de comida y lo que sirven en todos los restaurantes deja mucho que desear. Los empleados en general son amables; aunque en el buffet principal y en el de la playa te sirven la comida de mala gana(algunas chicas) o no encuentras quien te sirva, ya que hay algunas cosas que no te las puedes servir tú mismo.

Nuestra vacaciones en Septiembre 12-19 en este Resort. Una experiencia maravillosa quedamos muy a gusto con todas las atenciones. Zumba en la playa con los animaciones franco y Wander los mejores. Restaurant Buffet nos esperaban con los brazos abierto cada dia, Arisleydi, Rafaela, Adrian, Joel, Miriam Franklin. Playa See &Sea En el Gourmet Santiago Mercedesy companeros. Japones Frandy, Carolina, Kiaren, Maribel Castillo, y el jefe la comida super deliciosa. Masaje en la playa Maria Sandoval super. nos hicieron sentir en casa.Gracias por susatenciones para todos.Los shows muy buenos, Limpieza Dona Beatriz que nos guardaba la habitacion super limpia y decorada. Volveriamos a este Resort la playa con un poco de .Seaweed pero eso es temporario. Bendiciones

Very organized, everything is very clean and the food is very good, all the restaurants are wonderful. Every night has a different attraction, besides the entertainment team is really fantastic especially Obama!!!! The butler who stayed with us was also very kind to Jeffrey. Come you will love!!!

Maravilhoso custo beneficio. Local limpo, funcionarios muito bem treinados, decoracao elegante. Os quartos com jacuzzi externa perdem um pouco a privacidade. Preferi os com jacuzzi na parte interna com vista , assim vc tem o melhor dos 2 mundos. Os funcionarios te atendem Sempre com alto astral. É impossivel nao se contagiar com o auto astral. Todos sempre alegres , comunicativos, prestativos e prontos para fazer nossa estadia um evento inesquecivel. Os restaurantes sao variados. Awesome resort. It is a sibling to the Majestic Elegance next door, both similar in price. One really isn't better than the other when it comes to food and amenities. I paid for the upgrade "club" class & it's definitely worth it. I loved being able to have a private low-key access to a quiet quick-serving bar and pool especially have a long day's excursion... I hate being around people after being sun-soaked on the middle of the sea for 6 hours. Your towels are more plush and absorbent & you can have glass by the pool... I know that sounds weird, but nothing worse than a melting cheap red cup poolside. It's an upgraded feeling overall. VIP all the way. If you want modern chic, stay on the Elegance side. Majestic Colonial stands for its name. Colonial vibe, and that's what I love when I'm on vacation in South. Love the Majestic Colonial!

Unfortunately, there are no designated smoking areas, which therefore results with people smoking anywhere and everywhere. 2. The room had a Smokey musty smell. I believe it was due to point 1. 3. The bed sheets had a wet humid feel. Pros: 1.The cleaners were great. 2.Friendly staff 3.Food was great!

Food was delicious fresh and lots of variety. There are a total of 6 or 7 restaurants so lots of options. I liked that some were more fancy if you’re celebrating an occasion and you needed a reservation for only 2. Pool and private beach we’re super nice. The paella by the beach was delicious. I loved the entertainment as well. There was always an activity happening every night from live music to shows. There was entertainment by the pool every day and the team was awesome with their Zumba classes and games. Needless to say we had a great time and will be coming back. The staff was super attentive and over the top nice especially Daniel from the front desk.

Went here with my family. It was great. Food was tasty, and the facilities were good. Pool on the private adult side could use some fixing up (missing tiles cut feet), but otherwise great place. Our Butler Georgie was amazing and made our stay much better. Keep up the great work.

It was one of the best vacation I took for the first time with my husband last year in September. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, food was amazing, clean hotel, atmosphere was safe and beautiful. One of the con was communicating with some staff that didn't know much English. I would suggest learning some basic Spanish before going :D. I would definitely go back there in the future. Thank you to all the staff there at Majestic Colonial for the hospitality.

Amazing vacation! Clean beach with private areas for resort only. Multiple places to eat and the food is very good. Everyone is extremely helpful and nice. Rooms are clean, a little outdated but over all nice, maid service is great. Resort is very clean, staff every morning doing landscaping, trash pickup, pools service, and making sure everything is in order. Fresh towels daily for the beach. Plenty of bottled water to drink and the bartenders can make some amazing drinks. They can make sure you have a great time. Best bar service is the main bar at the bottom of the stair case in the main lobby!

FANTASTIC 5 star all inclusive resort! Multiple bars and restaurants offer 24 hour dining options whether your looking for an intimate upscale meal or just a late night quick bite to eat. Friendly, attentive staff. Clean beaches. There is a casino, theater and several gift shops. The gazebo on the beach offers a picturesque spot for weddings. Lots of activities for adults and for kids. The Colonial Club membership is well worth the couple of extra bucks and provides you with a members only pool & beach area, and even butler service! HIGHLY recommend.
