“There are fancier hotels in the area but this review is on a value for money basis. The room we had seemed newly renovated and felt very clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout, from the check in to breakfast & pool side. The lobby area feels luxurious and although I was confused about the resort fee initially, you do get good value out of it in the form of beach towels and beach loungers/umbrellas. The parking is extortionate at $45/day including tax but that was standard for the area so no blame on the hotel here. I travelled throughout Florida so could not avoid having a car, what I did was park at 5301 Collins Av for $10/day ($1/hour between 8am - 6pm). Would recommend this hotel if it's appropriate for your budget.”

“If the rating was out of 10, I would give it a 5. It was bad in some ways but good too! Staff was friendly, boardwalk close, and room was spacious. Upon checking in you get charged $100+ for incidentals (THIS IS WHAT THE FRONT DESK LADY TOLD US). That covers beach towels, chairs and umbrellas from 9-5pm. Valet is about $47 each night! Pool had some rust, our room lacked vacuuming (ON THE RUG BETWEEN BEDS) when we first saw it and it had hairs on the bed. Nothing much, room was mostly clean and had a gorgeous construction site view (sarcastic but real). Towards the afternoon, the closet door almost fell on us but maintenance fixed it.
We were excited for the beach access until we saw how the beach is at the moment. Full of this stuff, staff at beach access entrance doesn’t know what it is either. You cant swim in this area or you will be yelled at by Miami Beach lifeguards. The lifeguards WERE NOT guiding us away from jellyfish! We didn’t enjoy the beach here but the hotel was a nice place to stay.
