Jose and Edward were exceptional from the time we arrived. They took care of all of our needs, helped schedule tours, meals, made recommendations, and attended to all of our needs. I experienced food born sickness, and both were very attentive, checking on me regularly and making sure I had everything for a speedy recovery. Eliezer and other staff provided excellent service during all of meals. The maid service was also excellent. Every one of them were always smiling and pleasant. Last but not least, the resort is beautiful. The grounds are spectacular.

My family and I had an amazing stay here. The staff and service was absolutely incredible. The food was always very good with a lot of options! The staff here makes you feel like you are apart of their family and ensure you have a good time! We had a blast! I cannot wait to come back! Armando and Jesus were our butlers and they were the definitely the best, so nice and made the trip so much better!

Very good vacation and property love the hotel and food along with amenities all are very good and above all our expectations. The fine dining and choices were very good and we enjoyed the main buffet the most so we can go when we wanted. Beach side huts are special and our favorite spot to be. Room and accommodations are very very nice along with all hospitality services very well done. Always clean and helpful. Jose - our room butler was always checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed and he help make our experience very special. We will come back. Gucci from entertainment services was always fun and enjoyable around the pool and resort happy to see everyone and always helpful. The resort is beautiful and well kept. There are plenty of cabanas and seating around the pools. The beach area is very nice as well with plenty of covered lounge chairs. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. Our butler, Starling, provided excellent customer service and took care of all of our needs and even did a few special extras for our anniversary. The wait staff is top notch and there is a wide variety of food options. I enjoyed the outdoor shows the best and the evening entertainment in the lobby area. It was a very enjoyable stay!

Spent Valentines week here and had a wonderful time! The staff was amazing! It was our first time with a Butler which was amazing, Alberto went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and checked on us frequently to make sure that we were happy. The star friends made sure we were having fun and always treated us like we were VIP guests - special shout out to Alex and Yocardi-B Our lobby server Elizabeth always greeted us with a smile and friendly face. I do agree with many reviews that the food could be better. We did enjoy the Surf-in turf, and the Japanese steakhouse. Our room is beautiful and the cleaning staff made sure that it was up to par twice a day. We did upgrade to a swim out pool which was lovely although because there is not as much wind we did have some issues with mosquitoes. It also backs up to the other resort and doesn’t provide the best view.The next time we would upgrade to an ocean view instead. The beach was beautiful and the sand was as soft as powdered sugar although it was a bit windy so the waves were rougher than I would’ve liked. Overall we would rate this resort a 5 and can’t wait to go back!

O melhor hotel no qual já me hospedei ...simplesmente magnífico. Gostaria de ressaltar o atendimento dos concierge Melvin e Léo que nos trataram como reis ,nos deram toda atenção atendendo todas solicitações...o que precisavamos pediamos a eles e eles providenciavam com rapidez e praticidade. Agradecer também a toda equipe ;das camareiras á garçons e garçonetes sempre com sorrisos no rosto nos dando bom dia ,boa noite...e carinhosos as. Definitivamente a decisãode termos nos hospedados no grand bávaro foi a melhor experiência possível. Fazendo valero dinheiro gasto.Obrigado a toda equipe do Iberostar Grand Bávaro Punta Cana.Gostaria de ressalta que a culinária,o restaurante do buffet é simplesmente espetacular sob o comando da chef Yuderkis Grullón simpática e atenciosa e dochef José Javier comida maravilhosa vocês estão de parabéns ...voltarei com certeza.

Very nice resort. The entertainment staff, especially Hot Chocolate and Mini Me couldn't have been more friendly! Room was nice and clean and housekeeping was perfect. Food was exceptional and beaches clean and warm. We did not make much use of the butler but he was available. Only feedback for improvement would be to include liquor in the mini bar and it took us a couple of days to get consistent ice delivery to our room each day.

Perfect location on the beach. Never feels crowded. Plenty of cabanas by the pool. Our 2 butlers Jonathon and Starling were excellent making sure all our needs were met. They really went over and beyond our expectations. The food and restaurant's were great. Kelly our concierge was very personable and helpful. The entire staff was top notch. We will return!

Great location, very nice hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Our butler, Staling, made sure we had everything we needed, the room was clean, minibar stocked, and activities arranged. The only caution I’d offer is that the “resort credits” are just mostly worthless coupons (offers that can’t be combined and have minimum purchases associated). Other than that, you won’t regret choosing this very nice resort.

Melhor hospedagem impossível. Hotel maravilhoso, staff maravilhoso (com raras exceções), comida excelente, entretenimento bacana, Room service e Lobby bar 24h, bebidas excelentes, restaurantes a la carte de alto nível, praia linda, conforto e segurança. Encantam o cliente em cada mínimo detalhe! Clientes "simples", tem luxo mas sem pompa e chatice. Abundância de toalhas, itens de banho de boa qualidade e uma pegada sustentável muito interessante, não existe nada de plastico no Hotel (copos, sacos...canudos). Vale cada centavo investido. Gorjetas? Todos gostam, mas você também é muito bem atendido se não der. Palmas para o Eri e Bruno (bartenders), Eliezer da piscina, Francis concierge da Piscina, Mayyerix da piscina. Fizeram muita diferença em nossos dias! E o Fermin, nosso eficiente mordomo!

The resort, beach & ocean were beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay there, it was relaxing and low key. The staff was fantastic, thank you to our butlers Leo and Alberto for their excellent service. Also thank you to Orbitz he was an excellent waiter at the buffet restaurant. The pool side grill area was excellent everyday, the poolside bar had music playing every day and staff did a great job, they were a fun bunch! Only thing I would suggest for the resort is to add more music playing throughout resort for a more tropical atmosphere. Overall it was a great vacation!

My husband and I spent 8 days at this resort in January 2020 and this hotel fully deserves the great reviews given by travelers. This is truly a high class resort, extremely clean, top notch service from all the staff, great food, impeccable rooms, confortable beds, great entertainment and always found room either at the pool or at the beach.Our butlers Omar and Sylvester continuously made sure that all our needs were met and took attention to every detail going that extra mile to make our stay one to remember. We highly recommend this resort and we’ll definitely be going back.

Trip number #6 to Iberostar Grand in Punta Cana, and they continue to excel! Starling is a great butler, as he has been in the past. He always take care of us, from keeping the ice stocked, to getting us dinner where and when we want. The Star folks always make the trip fun. Armando always has a smile, and gets us laughing when doing archery. Ruth is also a stand out. I enjoyed talking to her on the beach about the life and love in the DR. We will be back next year. I often think about changing up my location, but I know nothing can compare to the Grand.....so I’m sticking with a GREAT place!

É a segunda vez que venho a esse hotel. Gostamos tanto que ficamos com aquela vontadede “quero mais”. O serviço é impecável, nosso mordomo Firmin foi atencioso e simpático. A equipe de entretenimento sempre atentos e alegres, em especial Yocari. Resumindo, não tenho comonominar a todos que nos atenderam. Parabéns a equipe do Gran Bávaro por tornar nossas férias inesquecíveis.

Second visit to this beautiful and delightful Resort..week of December 1, 2019. Gluten free issues were all addressed by a letter in Spanish given to me by Juan Carlos at Hotel Desk. Juan Carlos was there for us again this year with any questions we had concerning our stay. Our Butler, Caesar could not have been more attentive to our requests during our stay. He had wonderful suggestions as well to make our stay more productive and enjoyable. Luisa kept our room and made sure that we had a beautifultowel art sculpture everyday.At the Main Buffet (Alfredo), the outside pool Buffet (Victor) and all the restaurants, we encountered Johnny (Wine Steward) who suggested choices of wines or drinks...he was everywhere. At the pool, Vincente helped out. We had a "blast" doing dance lessons (YoyoCardi B), water aerobics and Spanish lessons (Hot Chocolate) while out in the sun. The beach for a few days was high tide and ridiculous waves, but beach clean and beautiful. Minnie Me was such a nice man and made us feel very special. Very talented! He was everywhere, all times of day and night, as were many of theGrand Bavaro Employees. They work tremendous hours each day with kindness and and smiles always. Can't wait to visit next year. Christmas Lighting....wow!

Excelente con matices. El hotel es excelente, el único problema lo tuvimos con el vino y el cava que nos sirvieron. Al inicio de nuestra estancia, nos suministraron un vino razonable, pero al tercer día se terminó y empezamos a mendigar por un vino aceptable. Lo mismo pasó con el cava, que cuando se acabó pasó a ser vino espumoso. No es de recibo para un hotel de ésta categoría. Además, creo se nos debería haber avisado que lo estaban reformando, el galeón por ejemplo, solo lo pudimos ver desde fuera y con andamios. Por lo demás, más que recomendable

This was our first All-inclusive experience and we loved every moment.The staff is excellent, friendly, helpful and fun.Carlos, our butler, was absolutely amazing.He went far beyond our expectations and made this trip even more spectacular than it already was- you’re the MAN!The room was clean and spacious, bed was comfy, rain shower-head was perfect and our morning delivery of coffee was hot, delicious and right on time every day.We tried 4 of the 5 specialty restaurants for dinner, my favorite was Surf and Turf although my other half argued for the Japanese Hibachi.Breakfast and Lunch Buffet were quick, offerings were plentiful and tasty.Again, the wait staff were amazing. There are fun daily activities to choose from and water sports just a walk down the beach.All in all, a wonderful place to vacation.We are already planning next years visit!

Experiência indescritível, superou todas nossas expectativas. Hotel maravilhoso, na verdade impecável, comida saborosa e muita variedade, todos os funcionários extremamente atenciosos e prestativos, em especial: Juara (recepcionista), Fermin e Michael (mordomos), Francisca e Wesquel(pessoal responsável pela limpeza do nosso quarto). Para quem gosta de treinar a academia é completíssima, aparelhos novos e muito espaçosa. Tanto os restaurantes temáticos quanto os buffets tem comidas igualmente saborosas. Viemos em lua de mel para a Republica Dominicana, chegamos ao hotel no dia 03/09. Fomos muito bem recebidos desde o primeiro dia pelo funcionário que trás as malas até ao quarto, sempre com um sorriso. Os nossos mordomos Danilo e Silvestre estiveram sempre disponíveis para nos ajudar e para nos esclarecer acerca do funcionamento do resort. Conseguimos fazer sempre as reservas para os restaurantes temáticos sem problema, mesmo no dia anterior. Os buffets para pequeno almoço, almoço e jantar tinham sempre muita variedade de comida, para todos os gostos, inclusive para vegetarianos e veganos. Adoramos o entretenimento do hotel, sempre com actividades opcionais! O funcionário Hot Chocolate é de uma simpatia tremenda!! Muito bem disposto! Recomendamos o bingo, o tiro ao arco e o merengue! Sem dúvida que é dos melhores hotéis onde já ficamos. A praia em frente é maravilhosa, a água muito quente, a areia super fina e não aquece com o sol! As espreguiçadeiras que estão disponíveis para os hóspedes não são de plástico como na maior parte dos hotéis, tem um mini colchão e são super confortáveis. O nosso quarto ficou virado para o lago e conseguíamos ver os espectáculos que faziam todos os dias à noite! Destacámos mais uma vez os nossos mordomos Danilo e Silvestre que fizeram de tudo para que a estadia fosse perfeita, resolveram vários problemas que fomos tendo e prepararam muitas agradáveis surpresas! Esperamos voltar em breve e ficar neste mesmo hotel!
